And so to our new seasons, we all watched the euros in anticipation as to what our boy Modric would be like, how would he perform, i dont think this could of gone bette for a spurs fan, our luck in previous years would of lead to an injured modric being out already, but not this time, instead Modric proved to be pundits favourite, and scored a cracking penalty in the opening game.
Giovani Dos Santos, a south american wonderkid who openly stated how he turned down Manchester united, Ajax, and most importantly Chelsea, in order to come to Tottenham, as he believes Juande Ramos has great plans...after researching our boy Santos on Youtube, he looks promising...
Speaking of Promising Spurs have snatched up Bostock from crystal palace, titled 'the most exciting young england talent" Bostock could be another spurs-england superstar, (lets just hope he doesnt do to us what he's done to crystal palace) and lets hope Juande Ramos will put a stop to Tottenham being a mixing-bowl for 'bigger' english clubs.
With three new midfielders it would appear Ramos is renevating and reinventing the spurs midfield; possibly the weakest part of our team for the last few years, it would now appear he is after David Bentley, another impressive english talent, im sure he will be more than welcomed to the team, but with Huddlestone signing a new 5 year contract and talent like huddlestone and Jenas in the team...is their enough space?
...Berbatov could be gone by the end of the week, Im sure Robbie Keane to liverpool is nothing but paper talk, im sure liverpool are interested but Keano's metamorphisis from new player to spurs icon in a matter of years proves he is tottenham through and through, but who will he be playing along side? Santos is also a striker, santa cruz, Garcia...Podolski, arshavin?
...watch this space.
